Mallett-returns

This summer Mallett will be returning to it’s roots with exhibitions celebrating the Italian ‘Dolce Vita’ at their Ely House showroom on London’s Dover Street, in the heart of Mayfair. With 2015 marking their 150th anniversary year, Mallett have curated a calendar of events to celebrate their history and future, combining traditional, master craftsmanship and contemporary design.

Opening the summer calendar of events will be a haute couture collection from Milan based jewellers SCAVIA. The exhibition, which runs from 21st May – 4th June, will be presented alongside the first UK selling exhibition of Venetian glass blower Lino Tagliapietra.

Mallett is one of the oldest established antique dealers in the world, founded in 1865 in Bath by John Mallett, a jeweller and silversmith. Today they specialise in the finest pieces of furniture and works of art, including pictures, clocks and other high quality objets d’art, but this summer’s calendar will see the reintroduction of jewellery to this heritage brand, and the rooms of their flagship London saleroom sparkling with the creativity and skills of unique contemporary designers.
